Noctua preparing AMD socket AM4 upgrade kit

For its previous AMD coolers

It appears that AMD won't keep the same socket design for its upcoming AM4 socket but Noctua has showcased its AM4 adapter at Computex 2016 show.

Spotted on the showfloor, Noctua will actually have three versions of the AM4 retention kit that will be compatible will all existing Noctua CPU coolers, except for the D0 and NH-L9i series.

This means that most Noctua AMD coolers with support for AM3/AM3+ sockets are covered and it appears that Noctua will give these retention kits for free to all existing customers, as long as they have a proof of purchase.

Earlier information suggested that AMD could keep the same design for its upcoming AM4 socket which should make all previous CPU coolers compatible but it appears that this won't be the case.
