id Software could be reviving Quake next

According to job listings

It appears that id Software could be reviving the Quake franchise next, at least according to job listings posted by the company.

After, what can be considered, a successful revival of Doom franchise, id Software could be reviving Quake next.

id Software currently lists no less than twelve new job positions, including Lead Gameplay Programmer, Backend Server Programmer and a Senior Lightning Artist with a description saying that they are looking for people "to work as part of a development team on legendary id game properties like DOOM and QUAKE".

While the mention of Quake could mean nothing and could be just a reference of earlier great games from id Software, we would not be surprise if it turns out to be true as Doom certainly did well.

It has been around nine years since the last Quake game, Quake Wars, has been released, so it just might be a perfect time for a revival.
