Nvidia GTX 1080 3DMark performance leaked

Scores higher than GTX Titan X

Just a few days ahead of the official NDA date for reviews, set for May 17th, some of the first performance figures for the Geforce GTX 1080 have found their way online.

Leaked by Videocardz.com, the alleged 3DMark 11 and 3DMark FireStrike show the GTX 1080 outperforming both the GTX Titan X and the GTX 980 Ti by quite a margin.

The list of scores include 3DMark 11 Performance and Extreme as well as 3DMark FireStrike Performance, Extreme and Ultra benchmark preset scores.

According to details, the tested GTX 1080 had a boost clock of somewhere around 1860 to 1886MHz which is significantly higher than expected. The GTX 1080 is about 21 percent faster than the GTX Titan X and about 27 percent faster than AMD's flagship Fury X graphics card.

Of course, these are still first leaked benchmarks and there are no details regarding the actual system used for testing so you should take these with a grain of salt. First official reviews should be up on Tuesday, May 17th, so we will get a clear picture on the actual real world performance.
