Samsung unveils EVO Plus 256GB microSD card

Highest capacity in its class

Samsung has announced its newest EVO Plus 256GB microSD card, which is the highest capacity microSD card in its class and aimed to be used in premium smartphones, tablets, action cameras and drones.

Providing enough capacity to record up to 12 hours of 4K/UHD video or 33 hours of Full HD video, the new Samsung EVO Plus 256GB microSD card offers Class 3 performance, with read and write performance of up to 95MB/s and 90MB/s, respectively.

Such performance should be enough to get the most out of general consumer devices for both Full HD and 4K/UHD video and photography.

According to Samsung, the new EVO Plus 256GB microSD card should be available in June with a price set at US $249.99.
