Although Nvidia has officially announced Pascal-based Geforce GTX 1080 and GTX 1070 graphics cards we still have not seen any real-world benchmarks as Nvidia is keeping a tight leash on its NDA, but one just managed to get away from them.
Spotted by Overclock3D.net site, the Ashes of the Singularity page
actually has Geforce GTX 1080 in its database showing that the graphics card managed to get a score of 4900 points and an average framerate of 49.6.
In the same benchmark, AMD Radeon R9 Fury X hits about 4300 points and an average framerate of 44.4, which puts the GTX 1080 ahead by 10 to 12 percent. The results were obtained on the same system so the comparison should be accurate.
Official Geforce GTX 1080 reviews should be out on May 17th so we are still a few weeks away from those but hopefully a few leaks will show up eventually.
