It appears that Chromium OS, an open-source version of the Chrome OS is now happily running on the Raspberry Pi, although it lacks some features.
The new project, that has a goal in releasing builds of Chromium OS that run all single-board computers have now managed to make a Chromium OS 0.5 version which runs on Raspberry Pi 2 and Raspberry Pi 3.
While it does run on the small computer, there are still some features that aren't working, like WiFi and Bluetooth on the Raspberry Pi 3 and HTML5 and Netflix on both devices.
The process for turning the Raspberry Pi into a Chromebox is quite simple as all you have to do i put the OS on an SD card, turn it on and follow neatly done step-by-step instructions.
Hopefully, future builds will fix those features as these turn Raspberry Pi into a neat little system.
