ASUS has unveiled its latest VivoStick mini PC compute stick, the VivoStick TS10, which is based on Intel's Cherry Trail SoC.
Featuring Intel's 1.44GHz clocked quad-core Atom X5-Z8350 with Intel HD 400 Graphics, the new VivoStick TS10 should pack much more performance compared to a flood of cheap Chinese HDMI sticks. Measuring at 139x36x16.5, the VivoStick TS10 runs on Windows 10 64-bit OS and also comes with 2GB of DDR3 memory and 32GB of internal flash storage.
The rest of the specification include a USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports, HDMI output that allows it to be directly connected to the TV, 802.11ac WiFi and Bluetooth 4.1. If 32GB of internal storage is not enough, ASUS was kind enough to add 100GB of free ASUS WebStorage cloud storage.
The new ASUS VivoStick TS10 also comes with a couple of ASUS specific features like the HyStream software as well as VivoRemote apps for the PC, Android and iOS.
Currently scheduled to appear in Japan on April 8th, the price of the VivoStick TS10 is set at around 21,500 Yen (about $195). There is no word on global availability.
