Streacom has teamed up with HWBOT and Overclocking-TV to create an open, community developed benchtable that should appeal to enthusiasts and overclockers all around the world. Streacom has already made a prototype that will be used at HWBOT's OC Workshops which are part of the HWBOT World Tour starting soon in Europe and North America.
The Special HWBOT World Tour Edition benchtable, as Streacom decided to name it, looks interesting and while there is not much to look at, bear in mind that this a main tool for overclockers, next to LN2, of course.
Good benchtables are hard to find and often overclockers create their own, but now, Streacom, Overclocking-TV and HWBOT aim to create one that will appeal to wider audience and be designed by overclockers and for overclockers.
The HWBOT World Tour and OC Workshops will certainly be the right place for overclockers to try out the new benchtable and iron our all the kinks and add some things that they would like to see so hopefully the final product will be an impressive benchtable.
Called the BC1 or the Special HWBOT World Tour Edition benchtable, measures at 36x27x0.8cm and uses an aluminum base, made of single piece of milled aluminum, making it quite light at 2.5kg. The legs, screws and all other components can be stored inside the base for easy transportation. It supports both the CPU pot and up to four graphics cards so there is room even for extreme overclocking projects.
