ASUS unveils the new VivoMini VM65 mini-PCs

NUC-sized systems with Core i5 CPU and GT 930M

The mini-PC systems have become quite popular lately and it does not come as a surprise that ASUS wants a big piece of that market as the company has released its new ASUS VivoMini VM65 and VM65N mini-PCs with Intel Core i3/Core i5 CPU and optional Geforce GT 930M graphics.

Based on a rather small 18.99x5.61x18.99 chassis made of brushed aluminum, the ASUS VivoMini VM65 and VM65N are both based on either the Core i3-6100U or Core i5-6200U CPUs and support up to 16GB of DDR4-2133 memory in two SO-DIMM slots.

Both systems also have support for a single 3.5-inch drive (with support for two more 2.5-inch drives with Vivo DualBay) one M.2 PCIe x4 slot used by 802.11ac WiFi+BT module, SD card reader, Gigabit Ethernet, USB 3.0 ports, and HDMI and DisplayPort outputs.

There are a few differences between the VM65 and the VM65N versions, as the VM65 comes only with six USB 3.0 ports and Intel IGP HD Graphcis 520. The ASUS VivoMini VM65N feature Nvidia Geforce GT 930M GPU and replaces two USB 3.0 ports with two USB 3.1 Type-A ports.

Unfortunately, ASUS did not reveal any details regarding the price or the availability date for these two new VivoMini PCs.
