Gelid has unveiled its newest Silent Pro 14 fan, a 140mm fan designed specifically for silent enthusiasts thanks to its new optimized fan blades and a new PWM IC.
Thanks to its precisely optimized fan blades which promises both high airflow and high static pressure as well as silent operation, the new Gelid Silen Pro 14 PWM fan also comes with newly designed PWM IC, a control unit that eliminates any clicking noise of the fan.
Specification wise, the new Gelid Silent Pro 14 PWM fan spins between 450 and 1500 RPM providing up to 80.6 CFM of airflow, 1.86mmAq of static pressure and producing up to 27.8dBA of noise. It uses Hydro Dynamic Bearing and measures at standard 140x140x25mm but has mounting holes of a 120mm fan so it fits most, if not all, PC cases and CPU coolers on the market.
The bundle of the Gelid Silent Pro 14 PWM fan also includes a set of rubber fan mounts which should prevent any unwanted vibrations.
According to Gelid, the new Silent Pro 14 PWM fan should already be available with a price set at US $13 and €9.25.
