Acer has unveiled its new 27-inch WQHD H277HU monitor which features Zero Frame Design and comes with USB 3.1 Type-C port.

Based on a 27-inch IPS panel with 2560x1440 resolution, the new Acer H277HU has a maximum brightness of 350 cd/m2 brightness, 100,000,000:1 contrast ratio, 4ms response time and 178/178 degree viewing angles.

What makes the Acer H277HU monitor really special is the fact that it packs the USB Type-C port, which can carry both a display and USB data signal, as well as standard HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.2 and a pair of USB 3.0 ports.

The Acer H2770HU monitor comes with Acer's own Zero Frame Design with a 0.4-inch thick front bezel and frame, making it highly suitable for multi-monitor configurations but also has 3W stereo speakers with support for DTS Sound and Acer TrueHarmony.

According to Acer, the new H2770HU monitor with USB Type-C port should already be available in the US with a price set at US $499. Unfortunately, there is no word on when we will actually see it in Europe.
