We stumbled upon a rather interesting small form factor (SFF) PC case called the Project Nova, which can house a lot of high-end components in a rather small 17L chassis.
The Project Nova is a custom 5-slot mATX PC case that is currently in prototype phase and comes from Kimera Industries. The precise dimensions are set at 300x170x333mm or 17L and it uses 20 gauge steel panels and steel frame with machined aluminum handle. The entire case is powder coated and weighs 4.22kg.
When it comes to support, it can take up to 113mm tall CPU cooler, SFX/SFX-L PSUs, high-end graphics cards, including two Geforce GTX 980s, two 2.5-inch HDDs/SSDs and a single 3.5-inch drive, at least for now.
The cooing is done by a front 120mm, rear 92mm fan and possibly a top slim 120mm fan, which is still an option.
In any case, it is definitely an interesting project which should soon get a the final name, specifications, features a crowdfunding date so we will surely keep an eye on it.
