While we already knew that it will be quite an expensive system, it appears that the ASUS ROG GX700, a water cooled gaming notebook, will be priced at €4,499 in Europe.
According to a report from Hardwareluxx.de site, the ASUS ROG GX700 notebook will be available at select retail/e-tail shops in Europe,
such as Alternate, Amazon, Cyberport, MediaMarkt and Notebooksbilliger , should start selling it today with a price set at €4,499.
The ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) GX700 was officially launched back in September last year and it came as a big surprise considering that it can connect to an external water cooling system, which will bring both lower temperature and allow some of the components in the GX700 to be overclocked.
The basic version on the DACH market will include an Intel Core i7-6820HK CPU which can be overclocked to at least 4.0GHz, when connected to the external water cooling system. It also comes with Nvidia GTX 980 Notebook version of the graphics card which packs 2048 CUDA cores and 8GB of GDDR5 memory.
The rest of the features include 32GB of DDR4 memory, 17.3-inch FullHD screen with G-Sync, 512GB of M.2 NVMe SSD storage (2x256GB) and plenty of other features that you would want to see on a high-end gaming notebook.
In the US, the ROG GX700 notebook is expected to start at around US $4,300, depending on the version. If you have enough money to burn and want to have the best gaming notebook on the market then ASUS ROG GX700 just might be what you have been waiting.
