It appears that the recently unveiled Maximus VIII Hero Alpha motherboard will not be the only one with RGB LED lighting as ASUS has just added two new motherboards to the Aura series lineup, the ASUS 970 Pro Gaming/Aura and the B150 Pro Gaming/Wi-Fi/Aura.
According to ASUS, the new 970 Pro Gaming/Aura motherboard is the first AMD 970 chipset based motherboard that has SLI certification. It is based on a standard ATX form-factor and features two PCI-Express 3.0 x16, two PCI-Express x1 and two standard PCI slots, two USB 3.1 ports, six SATA 6Gbps ports, M.2 PCIe 2.0 x4 slot, Intel Gigabit Ethernet as well as as some gaming related features like ASUS' SupremeFX audio.
The ASUS B150I Pro Gaming/WiFi/Aura motherboard is the first one that will be based on a mini-ITX form-factor. Based on a budget oriented B150 Express chipset, it comes with a single PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slot, two memory slots, four SATA 6Gbps ports, an M.2 slot (most likely on the back of the board), integrated WiFi and all other standard features.
Unfortunately, ASUS did not reveal any details regarding the price or the availability date for these two new Aura series motherboards.
