OCZ has once again showcased its new RevoDrive 400 PCIe NVMe SSD at CES 2016 show and it should be available sometime in the first quarter of this year, with capacities ranging from 128GB to 1TB.
Previously showcased at IDF 2015 back in August last year, the Revo Drive 400 PCIe NVMe SSD uses both a Toshiba controller as well as the next-generation 15nm MLC NAND flash. It will be available in several different form-factors, including M.2 and 2.5-inch, with capacities ranging from 128GB to 1TB. OCZ will also offer a smaller RevoDrive 400 M.2 2260 form-factor with capacities of up to 512GB.
As seen earlier, the OCZ RevoDrive 400 uses PCIe Gen3 x4 interface, is fully NVMe 1.1b compliant, has write cache enhancement technology and will be backed by a 5-year ShieldPlus warranty, which has been recently extended to a bunch of other countries.
The OCZ RevoDrive 400 PCIe NVMe SSD has been benchmarked during CES 2016 show and it will ofer sequential read and write performance of up to 2,400 MB/s and 1,500 MB/s and up to 210,000 IOPS of random 4K performance.
Unfortunately, OCZ was still not ready to talk about the price but we guess we will find out soon enough as it should be ready in Q1 2016.
