It appears that ASRock wants to go an extra mile and enabled overclocking for Intel Xeon E3-1200 v5 CPUs on its C232-based motherboards.
While many motherboard manufacturers, including ASRock, have unlocked BCLK overclocking for Intel Skylake desktop CPUs on their Z170 Express chipset based motherboards,
according to the latest report from Techspot.com, ASRock wants to do a bit more and enable overclocking for Intel Xeon E3-1200 v5 CPUs on recently unveiled Intel C232 chipset based motherboards.
According to the same report, ASRock is currently testing the BIOS internaly and still needs to fix some things as we still do not have a precise BIOS update release date for those motherboards. Despite it, ASRock has posted some rather interesting results showing the Intel Xeon E3-1220 v5 overclockied to 4.5GHz, which is a 50 percent overclock.
ASRock has recently introduced two Intel C232 chipset based motherboards, including te ASRock E3V5 WS and the Fatal1ty Gaming Performance E3V5/OC, which should both show up in retail soon.
