G.Skill has unveiled its newest and highest capacity Trident Z memory kit based on four 16GB DDR4-3200 modules, the G.Skill Trident Z 64GB DDR4-3200 memory kit.
Based on premium Samsung DRAM chips and set to work at 1.35V, the new G.Skill Trident Z kit features four 16GB DDR4 memory modules running at 3200MHz and at rather tight 14-14-14-35 latency. The new 64GB DDR4-3200 kit also uses G.Skill's recognizable Trident Z heatspreaders.
According to G.Skill, we should see similar 16GB and 32GB kits with the same bandwidth and latency. The entire lineup will support Intel's XMP 2.0 standard and be fully compatible with Intel's new Z170 Express chipset motherboards.
Earlier in November,
G.Skill has introduced its fastest DDR4 kits that were based on high-performance 8GB modules with frequencies ranging from 3600MHz to 4133MHz but only available in 16GB and 32GB capacities.
Unfortunately, G.Skill did not reveal any details regarding the price but did note that these should be available before Christmas so hopefully we will see them on retail/e-tail shelves soon.
