Corsair unveils low-profile liquid CPU cooler

The Hydro Series H5 SF

Corsair has announced a new addition to its Hydro Series of liquid CPU coolers, the Hydro Series H5 SF, which is the first low-profile liquid CPU cooler aimed to be used with the smallest PCs.

With a size that supports any mini-ITX motherboard due to its low height of just 84mm and can handle CPUs with TDP of up to 150W.

The unit includes a copper cold plate with pre-applied thermal compound which is connected to the 120x40mm radiator via low permeability tubing. The radiator has an integrated 120mm blower fan, which, according to Corsair, also cools other critical hotspots on the motherboard, like the VRM and chipset.

According to Corsair, the new Hybrid Series H5 SF low-profile liquid CPU cooler is compatible with Corsair's Obsidian Series 250D, Carbide Series Air 240 and Graphite Series 380T cases as well as Corsair's earlier introduced Bulldog 4K barebone.

The Hydro Series H5 SF low-profile liquid CPU cooler should be available immediately with a suggested retail price of €79.99 exc. tax and is backed by a five-year warranty.
