Aerocool has announced its newest XPredator GM series of modular power supply units (PSUs), which will offer 80 Plus Gold efficiency rating and be available with power output ranging from 550W to 1000W.

The entire new Aerocool XPredator GM PSU series will be based on a modular design with DC-DC switching, single +12V rail design, active PFC, 80 Plus Gold efficiency rating and all the usual protections.

To be available in 550W, 650W, 750W and 1000W versions, these will provide enough power for a single high-end graphics card, for the 550W model, dual graphics cards for 650W and 750W models and triple graphics card setups for the 1000W model.

The 1000W model will use a 140mm bottom placed fan for cooling while 550W, 650W and 750W models will rely on a 120mm one.

Unfortunately, Aerocool did not reveal any details regarding the price or the availability date.
