Club 3D has announced its new DisplayPort 1.2 to HDMI 2.0 active adapters that will feature support for 4K/UHD resolution at 60Hz.

The new active adapters come as a result of AMD's support for HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2 to HDMI 2.0 active adapters with the latest AMD Radeon Software Crimson Edition drivers, allowing AMD AIB partners to come up with such adapters.

Club 3D has unveiled two new active adapters, the standard DisplayPort 1.2 to HDMI 2.0 and mini-DisplayPort 1.2 to HDMI 2.0 adapters.

Both are pretty much the same, beside the obvious difference in DisplayPort connector, and feature support for 4K/UHD 3840x2160 resolution at 60Hz refresh rate.

Called the CAC-1070 and the CAC-1170 Active Adapters, these will be available by the end of next month with a suggested retail price of US $35 ex. tax.
