We stumbled upon a picture which confirms that Der8auer's Delid Die Mate, which is a delidding tool, actually also works with Broadwell CPUs and also should be also available at Caseking.de as well as Overclockers.co.uk stores.

As we wrote earlier, a good friend and a well known overclocker, Roman Hartung, also know as Der8auer, has created a rather interesting and quite useful tool for delidding CPUs, the Delid Die Mate. Although it was previous confirmed that it works with Skylake, Ivy Bridge, Haswell and Devil's Canyon CPUs, the latest picture confirms that it also works with Broadwell CPUs as well.

Thee tool is quite simple and works on the vice method, where the CPU and the heatspreader are secured inside the tool and lined up perfectly which makes the process of delidding quite easy. It also allows you to glue the IHS back on the CPU in case you need it and should be quite handy for overclockers and benchers.

On a similar note, Roman announced that it should be available at Caseking.de soon and although it might sell out quickly, there will be an another batch soon. Priced at €89.90, the Delid Die Mate might sell out quite quickly but a bigger batch, if there is a decent demand, could also lower the price by €10 to €20.
