Thermalright has rather silently introduced its newest flagship CPU cooler, the Grand Macho, also known as the Le Grande Macho.
Spotted by Fanlesstech.com, the Grand Macho is pretty much the original Macho on steroids. Based on an off-center aluminum fin tower-type design, the Grand Macho has seven heatpipes and it is much bigger than the original Macho with dimensions set at 150x120x159mm and 900g of weight.
The new Grand Macho also looks a lot like the earlier introduced HR22 CPU cooler although it has one heatpipe less. The big part of the design on the new Grand Macho is the matte-black top. Due to its specific design, Thermalright had to cut a piece of the Grand Macho on the memory side in order to provide enough clearance for taller memory modules.
The new Grand Macho can be used as a passive cooler, to handle CPUs with up to 95W TDP and with a pair of 120mm fans in push-pull configuration for CPUs with TDP of up to 300W.
Unfortunately, Thermalright did not reveal any details regarding the availability date or the price but we guess we will see it on retail/e-tail shelves soon.
