We already heard rumors back in October that Nvidia might phase out the 2GB version of the GTX 960 in favor of 4GB version in order to better compete with AMD and now it appears that partners are gearing up for the change by launching new 4GB versions.
In addition to phasing out the 2GB versions of the GTX 960, some Nvidia AIB partners are introducing new GTX 960 4GB version in order to fill their offer.
Wccftech.com managed to get a few pictures of two new Galax GTX 960 4GB graphics cards, including the Gamer and EXOC model, both with a slightly different cooler designs.
While Nvidia AIB partners are slowly phasing out the GTX 960 2GB versions, there are still plenty of these graphics cards on the market and in stock.
It is believed that more and more AIB partners will introduce their own different versions of the GTX 960 4GB which should slowly and completely replace the GTX 960 2GB on the market.
