ASRock has announced yet another Z170 gaming motherboard that is currently the highest performance gaming motherboard in the ASRock lineup, the Fatal1ty Z170 Professional Gaming i7.

Based on the Intel Z170 Express chipset, the ASRock Fatal1ty Z170 Professional Gaming i7 motherboard supports Intel's latest 6th generation Core Skylake CPUs and DDR4 memory. Based on a standard ATX form-factor, the Fatal1ty Z170 Professional Gaming i7 has a 12-phase VRM powered by a combination of 24-pin ATX and 8-pin EPS power connectors.

It features four PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slots working at x16, x8/x8, x8/x8/x4 or x8/x4/x4/x4 modes, as well as PCI-Express 3.0 x1, PCI-Express 2.0 x1 and half-size mini-PCI Express slot. The main PCI-Express 3.0 x16 (PCIE2) slot features 15? Gold Contacts. As far as storage goes, the Fatal1ty Z170 Professional Gaming i7 comes with six SATA 6Gbps ports powered by Intel's Z170 chipset, four SATA 6Gbps powered by ASMedia ASM1061 chip, three SATA Express 10Gbps ports, shared from those available SATA ports and three Ultra M.2 ports.

The rest of the features and specifications include integrated 7.1-channel audio powered by Realtek's ALC1150 audio codec, Nchicon gold audio CAPs, 115dB SNR DAC, TI EN5532 headset amplifier and isolated PCB, dual Gigabit Ethernet powered by Intel's I219V and Intel I211AT chips, on-board power, reset and clear CMOS buttons, debug LED, BIOS selection, one USB 3.1 Type-A and one USB 3.1 Type-C ports, four standard USB 3.0 ports and plenty of ASRock exclusive features like Super Alloy components with XXL Aluminum Alloy Heatsink, Premium 60A Power Choke, Premium Memory Alloy Choke, Dual-Stack MOSFET (DSM), Combo CAPS (Nichicon 12K Platinum Caps), I/O Armor, Matte Black PCB and High Density Glass Fabric PCB.

Unfortunately, ASRock did not unveil any details regarding the precise availability date or the price of the new ASRock Fatal1ty Z170 Professional Gaming i7 motherboard.
