Xbox One getting backward compatibility next month
Update coming on November 12th
Microsoft has finally confirmed that the big Windows 10-powered update for Xbox One, which will bring backwards compatibility with Xbox 360 as well as plenty of new improvements, will be coming on November 12th.
Revealed both by a Twitter post from Larry Hryb, Microsoft's community manager, as well as during the global Halo 5: Guardians launch event, the Windows 10-powered update for Xbox One will be coming on November 12th.
Called "the fastest, most social Xbox experience ever", the update will bring a brand new dashboard experience as well as the Xbox 360 backwards compatibility to Xbox One.
According to Microsoft, there will be more than 100 titles available with list including Borderlands, the Gears of War series, Fallout 3 and Mass Effect.
This update will surely add a bit more value to the Xbox One console which has be struggling to keep up with Sony's Playstation 4 console.
