Valve removing Linux games from Steam

Those that do not work with SteamOS

Valve is apparently removing Linux games from Steam if they do not work well with Steam OS.

According to a report from GamingonLinux.com site, some of the games that were previously available on the Steam store have been removed as they do not meet the requirements of the SteamOS or have some compatibility issues.

According to the same report, while these games are no longer available, you can still download and play them if you have previously bought the game.

One of the games that was removed was StarMade, due to lack of Java requirement but, according to the developer, the issue has been fixed and the game will be available on Steam shortly.

Valve is putting things in order when it comes to SteamOS and games that work on Linux.
