Although there are already plenty of companies in the SSD market, it appears that Zotac also wants a piece of that market as well as the company has just announced its first SSDs, the new Premium Edition SSDs which will be available in 240GB and 480GB capacities.
According to Zotac, the new Premium Edition SSD series is based on a Phison quad-core controller paired up with MLC NAND, features up to 512MB DDR3 cache and offers sequential read and write performance of up to 520MB/s and 500MB/s, respectively.
The Zotac Premium Edition SSDs are based on a standard 2.5-inch 7mm-thick form-factor and SATA 6Gbps interface. According to Zotac, these new Premium Edition SSDs feature 480 TBW and up to 3,000 PE cycle endurance rating and are backed by a three-year warranty.
Unfortunately, Zotac did not unveil any details regarding the price or the availability date.
