Acer unveils curved 34-inch Predator X34 monitor

With Nvidia G-Sync support

While Acer already had a 34-inch curved FreeSync XR341CK monitor, a G-Sync version was nowhere to be found, at least not until today, as Acer has now launched the new Predator X34 monitor.

The new Acer Predator X34 gaming monitor is pretty much identical to the earlier available XR341CK, including a 34-inch curved 3440x1440 IPS panel. The panel has a 75Hz standard refresh rate that can be overclocked to 100Hz, and the aforementioned support for Nvidia G-Sync variable-refresh-rate technology. It also covers 100% of sRGB gamut, has 4ms response time, 300cd/m2 brightness and 172°/178° viewing angles.

According to Acer, the new Predator X34 has a ZeroFrame bezel that should make it suitable for multi-monitor setups and it features HDMI and DisplayPort 1.2a inputs.

The rest of the specifications and features include 7W DTS-certified stereo speakers, four-port USB 3.0 hub, RGB LED strip at the bottom and a cool looking stand, offering tilt and height adjustment.

The new Acer Predator X34 is currently listed at Newegg.com for US $1,299.99 while in Europe, it is listed for around €1299.99 depending on the region.
