ASUS announces partnership with Oculus

Releases Oculus certified gaming PCs

During Oculus Connect 2 developer conference held in Los Angeles, ASUS was among first manufacturers to announce Oculus certified gaming PCs that will be based on Intel's 6th generation Core CPUs, Nvidia Geforce GTX graphics cards, the ASUS ROG G20CDB and the ASUS G11CD.

According to ASUS, this partnership with Oculus should provide gamers with truly immersive gaming experiences with the ASUS G11CD and Republic of Gamers G20CB gaming desktops and Oculus Rift virtual reality (VR) headsets.

While it did not reveal any details specifications, ASUS did note that both the ASUS G11CD and the ROG G20CB will be powered by Intel's latest 6th generation Core Skylake CPUs and Nvidia Geforce GTX graphics cards.

The ROG G20CB will be based on an SFF form-factor with 9.5-liter chassis with customizable LED effects and more. The G11CD on the other hand will be a standard gaming PC with slightly higher specifications due to its standard form-factor.

According to ASUS, both new Oculus-certified gaming PCs will be available later this year.
