According to the latest report, Xiaomi's newest flagship Mi 5 smartphone could be coming before the end of the year, powered by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 820 SoC.
The newest rumor,
stating that the Xiaomi flagship could be coming this year, or precisely in December, comes from a well-known Chinese analyst Pan Jiutang and only a few weeks after the leaked alleged teaser image of the Mi 5 has appeared online.
In case you missed earlier rumors, the Xiaomi Mi 5 is rumored to be based on a 5.2-inch FHD screen, Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 SoC with Kryo CPU and Adreno 530 GPU, 4GB of RAM, 16/32GB of internal storage, 16-megapixel rear and 8-megapixel front camera, USB Type-C port and a fingerprint sensor.
The Xiaomi Mi 5 is expected to launch with Android 5.1.1 OS. The same smartphone was spotted in Antutu benchmark with an impressive result of 73,075.
Xiaomi is also expected to release the Mi Note 2 which should be based on the same specifications but have a larget 5.7-inch QHD screen and better rear camera.
