While we already knew that Apple is working on an Android app and it does not come as a surprise that it is actually an app that helps you move from an Android OS smartphone to Apple's iPhone or iPad, known at the Move to iOS app.
According to details, the Move to iOS app will transfer images, messages, contacts, calendars, mail accounts and pretty much everything else to your shiny new Apple devices. The iOS device will create a private WiFi connection with the Android devices and will put all the content in the right place.
Paid apps are a bit of a problem, since you will actually have to buy them again, but Apple's new Move to iOS app will put all those apps to a wishlist in iTunes.
There you have it, if you are shopping for a new iPhone or iPad and coming from an Android device, there is now an app for easy transfer of data, courtesy of Apple.
The Move to iOS app is now available at Google Play Store and works with devices running on Android 4.0 and higher.
