According to a new report, it appears that Konami managed to sell over three million copies of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain in the first week.
The news come from a banner posted by Konami at Japanese sites and spotted by Neogaf. It does not really come as a surprise that Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain sold so much copies, as judging from posted reviews, it is one game that you certainly should not miss.
The game is also surrounded by earlier controversy of Hideo Kojima's departure from Konami, which made it even popular.
As you know, the game has been released earlier this month and is available on Xbox 360, Xbox One, Playstation 3, Playstation 4 and PC.
