2K Games and Firaxis Games have announced that XCOM 2 has been delayed to February.
While the sequel of the XCOM: Enemy Unknown was expected to launch in November, 2K Games and Firaxis Games have announced that the game has been delayed and is now expected to launch on February 6th, 2016.
According to the announcement from the Firaxis, the developer has set a high bar for the sequel and while the entire team has been working hard they just need a little more time "to make it the best possible game."
In case you missed the announcement earlier, in the XCOM 2, the aliens have the upper hand and XCOM agents have taken a role of a resistance force. The game is set 20 years from the Enemy Unknown and you might want to check out the video below which Firaxis revealed during PAX PRime 2015 show.
Firaxis has promised more depth, more replayability and more investment in soldiers, something that was quite great in XCOM: Enemy Unknown.
In any case, it appears that we will have to wait a bit longer for this PC-exclusive.
