Cooler Master has now officially launched its two newest flagship PC cases, the MasterCase 5 and the MasterCase Pro 5, both featuring FreeForm Modular System technology.

Unveiled back at Computex 2015 show in June, Cooler Master's new MasterCase 5 and MasterCase Pro 5 PC cases feature a rather unique modular design, and are first mid-sized modular tower PC cases with exterior expandability.

The aforementioned FreeForm Modular System uses a dual-chamber design and allows users to adjust every major piece of the PC case, from the top panels to the side door, with Cooler Master offering special add-ons for it. It also comes with removable drive cages and four Slip-and-Clip Pockets for 2.5-inch drives, located behind the motherboard tray and above the PSU.

In addition to four Slip-and-Clip Pockets for 2.5-inch drives, MasterCase 5 support up to two 5.2-inch drives and up to five 3.5-inch drives.

When it comes to cooling, the MasterCase has removable mesh dust-filters and comes with support for up to six 140mm fans, with three at the front, two at the top and single one in the rear of the case. The water cooling support includes a single 240/280mm radiator at the front, 240mm radiator at the top and single 120/140mm radiator at the back.

It also support up to 190mm tall CPU cooler and up to 296mm long graphics card (412mm without front 3.5-inch cage).

The precise dimensions of the MasterCase 5 is set at 235x512x548mm and it supports ATX, micro-ATX and mini-ITX motherboards.

As noted, there are currently two versions, the base MasterCase 5 and the MasterCase Pro 5 version. The MasterCase Pro 5 comes with top cover, top water bracket and side window accessories and is bundled with two 140mm fans at the front and single 140mm fan at the rear.

The optional accessories for the MasterCase 5 series include the side window kit, top cover kit, 3-bay and 2-bay 3.5-inch HDD brackets and 2.5-inch SSD bracket.

The MasterCase 5 and the MasterCase Pro 5 are expected to be available in all major retail/e-tail shops as of today with a pirce set at €124.90 for the MasterCase 5 and €159.90 for the MasterCase Pro 5.
