While the OnePlus' OnePlus 2 smartphone will not be unveiled until later this evening, July 27th, at a livestream event, we already have quite a few details, including specifications, pictures and even a video showing some benchmarks done on the smartphone.
As rumored earlier and now confirmed by TENAA, which is the Chinese wireless regulator, the OnePlus 2 will be based around a 5.5-inch 2560x1440 screen and be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810 SoC with 4GB of RAM. There is still also a possibility that OnePlus could have more than one version.
Pictures released by TENAA also show that it will not feature a dual camera at the back. Earlier rumors also suggested it packs a fingerprint sensor in the home button as well as a 3300mAh battery.
According to new information, the OnePlus 2 should be available at the OnePlus Experience Store as of August 8th. There is already a Youtube video showing some benchmark results where OnePlus 2 scores 49,221 in Antutu, which is kinda low.
In any case, we will know for sure later today when the new OnePlus 2 smartphone will be officially announced at a livestream VR event.
