Google Nexus 5 2015 turns AnTuTu upside down

Scores 85530 Points

It looks like the new Nexus smartphone is under way and once more it LG will be the manufacturing company for the latest version. Meanwhile a benchmark score has surfaced, showing that the 2015 Nexus hits 85530 points. Compare that to the already fast Galaxy Note 4, which hit 50'000 points.

Apparently the question is now, what CPU did LG put into the Nexus 2015. Since there aren't too many processors, which offer this level of performance, our guesses are that Google and LG decided to either put a Helio X20 or a new Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 into this device.

Personally we believe that it's unlikely, that there is a Mediatek SoC working in the Nexus 2015. Earlier reports have shown that a teased Mediatek 10-core SoC manages to score 70'000 points in AnTuTu. Therefore there is still quite a huge gap to the 85'000 points shown in this benchmark result.
