AMD has released its newest Catalyst 15.7 WHQL drivers that brings official support for the new Radeon 300 series and R9 Fury graphics cards, adds support for AMD FreeSync in Crossfire and brings plenty of other improvements and bug fixes.
Bear in mind that this is actually AMD's first WHQL-signed Catalyst drivers since 14.12 Omega and while AMD had plenty of Beta drivers earlier, it was about time we get a major WHQL driver release.
The new Catalyst 15.7 WHQL drivers bring plenty of improvements and new features including WDDM 2.0 support, HEVC decode and game streaming for Xbox One to PC on Windows 10 OS, support for AMD FreeSync on Crossfire systems, which was previously unavailable and adds VSR (virtual super-resolution) and FRTC (frame-rate target control) for some Radeon 200-series graphics cards as well, which were previously only available for certain Radeon 300 series graphics cards.
The new AMD Catalyst 15.7 WHQL driver also adds a couple of AMD Crossfire profiles and brings performance improvements in games like Far Cry 4 and Tomb Raider on certain graphics cards.
As always, you can find the new AMD Catalyst 15.7 WHQL drivers for your Windows OS version via link below.
