According to a new report, Nvidia is preparing to unveil new Maxwell-based Quadro and Tesla professional graphics cards during SIGGRAPH 2015 show which starts in August.
Videocardz.com spotted several new graphics cards in Nvidia's latest drivers, including the Nvidia Quadro M5000 and M4000, as well as the new Tesla M60. The added support for these graphics cards in the latest driver suggest that Nvidia might be preparing to launch these new professional graphics cards and SIGGRAPH 2015 show, which kicks of on August 9th, might be the perfect place for it.
Both the Quadro M5000 and the Quadro M4000 are both based on GM204GL GPU and it was about time that Nvidia starts replacing its Kepler GPU based Quadro graphics cards with those based on the new Maxwell GPU.
While there are no precise details regarding any of those Quadro graphics cards, it is possible that Nvidia will include 8GB of memory and might use the same cooler as on the M6000.
In addition to two new Quadro graphics cards, there is also a new Tesla M60 graphics card, also based on the GM204 GPU.
Hopefully we will hear more about these new graphics cards as we draw closer to the SIGGRAPH 2015 show.
