Bethesda has opened up the E3 2015 show which is currently underway in Los Angeles and one of the big stars was certainly the new DOOM game, developed by id Software using new id Tech 6 engine, with new gameplay video.
While a bunch of people had a chance to see it behind close doors at Quakecon last year, Bethesda has decided that E3 2015 show is the perfect place for first official and public unveiling of the new DOOM game.
While the gameplay video was certainly something that we have all been waiting, id Software has also confirmed that the new DOOM will be based on brand new id Tech 6 engine which will bring the new DOOM as close to the original as possible, but with much more eye-candy.
In addition to the gameplay trailer, Bethesda also released a couple of beautiful 4K/UHD screenshots from the game.
According to Bethesda, the new DOOM will be available for Xbox One, Playstation 4 and the PC in spring next year.
