While it was already heavily rumored, Electronic Arts has now officially confirmed Mirror's Edge Catalyst game and has promised more details during its E3 2015 showcase.

Sara Jansson, Senior Producer at DICE has published an open letter on the Mirror's Edge official website saying that there have been two years since the developer is making Mirror's Edge and with behind the scenes look at early progress published last year, they have been closely listening to all the feedback and fans should see more details at E3 2015 show which kicks off next week.

According to Sara, the Mirror's Edge Catalyst will not be a sequel as although it has connection with the original Mirror's Edge, it pushes the boundaries of first person movement and dives deeper into the story of Faith but also brings a lot of new, interesting gameplay and features.

More details regarding Mirror's Edge Catalyst game are expected during EA's press conference scheduled for Monday, June 15th.
