Be quiet!, a well known cooling and power supply manufacturer from Germany, has unveiled its newest addition to the Dark Rock family of CPU coolers, the Top Flow design Dark Rock TF.
Based on a Top Flow design with two nickel-plated heatsinks connected to a base via six 6mm heatpipes, allows the new Dark Rock TF to carry two 135mm SilentWings fans, which gives it support for CPUs with TDP of up to 220W and produce 26.7dBA of noise. The fans come with fluid dynamic bearings and 6-pole motors and use rubberized inserts which suppress vibrations.
Thanks to its rather compact dimensions of 162.6x140x130.8 mm (LxWxH), it can be used in various system configurations, from compact systems to high-end PCs. Its height can be further reduced to 108.8mm by removing the upper fan.
The Dark Rock TF comes with black nickel plated design and also includes a high-quality top cover from brushed aluminum while the ends of the heatpipes have been capped in order to give it a more attractive look.
According to be quiet!, the new Dark Rock TF supports all current Intel and AMD sockets and should be available now with a suggested retail price of $79.90 / £62 / €86.
