FSP enters energy storage systems market

With new EMERGY series portable home batteries

FSP, a company well known for its high-quality power supply units as well as other performance power products, has now entered the energy storage systems market with new EMERGY series of portable home batteries.

The new EMERGY series of portable home batteries from FSP will be available in in 2.6kWh (Li-ion) and 1.7kWh (Lithium Iron Phosphate), which are a part of EMERGY 3000 series as well as 900Wh (Li-Ion) EMERGY 1000 series model. Since this is a home battery, the EMERGY series will excel at solar power storage and emergency power delivery and comes neatly packed in a suitcase design, which allows it be very portable.




The EMERGY Series home batteries can also let users save money by storing power during cheap off-peak rates and deliver it during peak hours, in addition to providing backup when the power is lost. It also comes with built-in UPS circuitry and also comes with built-in solar charging capability with compatibility with standard and FSP solar panels.

Measuring at 42×23×37cm for the EMERGY 1000 Series and 39×22×68cm for the EMERGY 3000 Series, these two home batteries are portable enough to be used on camping and outdoor events and even during emergency response.

Both the EMERGY 3000 and 1000 Series will be showcased by FSP in a smart home installation during Computex 2015 in Taipei where the company will also show its ION MATE Series which is Energy Storage System coming in 5.3kWh, 7.9kWh and 10.5kWh capacities and expected to be available for purchase in Q4 2015.




The EMERGY 3000 Series comes in a 2.6kWh Lithium Ion(DP2615ADN/EZN) version retailing for $3,300 and 1.7kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate(DP1715JDF) version for $4500. The EMERGY 1000 Series comes with a 900Wh Li-Ion battery(PP0915ADN/EZN) and retails for $2,100. Optional accessories include 40×108cm portable 50W solar panels sold in sets of 3 for $630. Both EMERGY 3000 Series and EMERGY 1000 Series are available to order starting today.
