AMD Fiji XT R9 390X coming on June 24th

Rest of the Radeon 300 series lineup on June 18th

According to the latest report, AMD should launch Fiji XT-based Radeon R9 390X flagship graphics card on June 24th while the rest of the Radeon 300 series should be launched a week earlier, on June 18th.

While these are still not official launch dates, most of the sources agree that AMD might showcase the new Fiji XT-based Radeon R9 390X flagship graphics card during the biggest PC gaming event, the E3 2015 show, but that the graphics card will be available for purchase a week after it.

The newest rumor, coming from Wccftech.com, suggest that AMD will keep the launch of the Radeon R9 390X for June 24th, a week after E3 2015 show and will probably have a separate dedicated event for it. The rest of the Radeon 300 series lineup, consisting mostly of rebrands and updated GPUs, will launch on June 18th, a week before Fiji XT flagship.

There are still plenty of unknowns including the existence of recently rumored two versions of the R9 390X, one with liquid cooling and one with standard air cooling.

There are no rumors regarding the price either. One thing that is still not carved in stone is the name of the Fiji XT flagship graphics card and while most press call it the Radeon R9 390X, we already heard rumors that AMD might use something similar to Nvidia's GTX Titan, probably in order to differentiate it from the rest of the Radeon 300 series rebrand graphics cards.

In any case, the E3 2015 show is just around the corner and we will probably hear more concrete rumors as we draw closer to the rumored launch date.
