Reddit users have discovered a neat little trick that gives a certain level of performance improvements on Nvidia Geforce graphics cards by disabling Nvidia Streaming service.
According to the report, by disabling Nvidia Streaming Windows service, which is used for streaming games to an Nvidia Shield handheld console, users can get between 3 to 5 percent of performance improvement. While it does not sound much, in some scenarios such performance improvement means that you might be getting playable frame-rates.
All you need to do is disable "nvstreamsvc.exe" in Windows Services (by running services.msc in Run). Bear in mind that the same service is also required for ShadowPlay so you might need to manual enable it.
