Patriot has announced its latest addition to USB flash drive lineup, the new Type-C USB Flash Drive.

Aimed at new Macbook, Google Chromebook Pixel and other users with notebooks that have Type C USB port, the new Patriot Type-C USB Flash Drive will be available in 32GB and 64GB capacities and include both the Type C USB connector on one side as well as a standard USB 3.0 connector on the other end, allowing users to transfer data from traditional devices to the new device with USB Type C port.

"As many MacBook users rely heavily on external storage options, we wanted to be at the forefront with a product that will cater to these consumers," said Meng J. Choo, Patriot's Product Manager. "As a leading manufacturer of USB and flash memory, we want to offer solutions for our customers that are easy-to-use and provide seamless experiences across all their devices."

According to Patriot, the new Type-C USB Flash Drive will be available in June. Unfortunately, the performance or the price have not been announced.
