DeepCool announced Quanta DQ850 PSU

With semi-modular design and 80Plus Gold rating

DeepCool has added yet another power supply model to its Quanta lineup, the 850W Quanta DQ850.

Based on a single +12V rail and semi-modular design, with 24-pin ATX, 8-pin EPS and two 6+2-pin PCI-Express power cables fixed to the unit, the new Quanta DQ850 PSU also comes with 80Plus Gold efficiency rating, offering 92 percent efficiency, a total of 10 SATA power cables and six Molex cables, all modular.

Since it is based on a single +12V rail design, the Quanta DQ850 offers 70A on its +12V rail and also features, a double-layer EMI filter, active PFC, i-Eco, which offers complete output cutoff when load is less than 1W and CircuitShield with all standard protections including OVP, OCP, UVP, SCP.

The DeepCool DQ850 PSU is cooled by a single bottom-place 140mm temperature controlled fan which does not spin up until the temperature reaches certain level, which should make it completely silent in idle.

The DeepCool Quanta DQ850 is backed by a 5-year warranty but the company did not reveal any details regarding precise availability date or the price.
