LG Display might have announced its latest Quad UHD 8K resolution display but it has also confirmed the yet to be announced Apple iMac which will feature that same 8K display.

In a press release that announces new Quad UHD 8K 7680x4320 resolution display, LG Display has also confirmed yet to be announced Apple iMac which will feature that same display. Saying that "Apple has also announced that they will release the 'iMac 8K' with a super-high resolution display later this year," LG Display has confirmed that Apple is working on a new iMac which will feature a rather impressive 7680x4320 resolution screen.

While there are no details regarding the size or the specifications of the upcoming Apple iMac with Quad UHD 8K display, it appears that we will see an even more impressive iMac compared to the 5K Retina iMac launched back in late 2014.

As you can see from a picture below, Quad UHD 8K resolution will bring plenty more pixels compared to UHD/4K 4096x2160.
