While we still have to see the new DirectX 12 API launch officially, it appears that we will see some games that will support as early as end of this year, according to Microsoft's Phil Spencer.
Replying to a question on Twitter, Phil Spencer noted that games which should take full advantage of DirectX 12 could be ready by the end of 2015, saying that developers should adopt DirectX 12 natively due to support on both Xbox One and PC with Windows 10, which should give them a lot of DirectX 12 gamers.
If you remember, we had to wait for a rather long time before developers started using DirectX 11 in games, at least to its full advantage, but with both Xbox One and PC as well as Playstation 4 now in the same boat, developers might be quite keen to get on the DirectX 12 train.
Earlier, Forza Motorsport 6 was rumored to be likely candidate for DirectX 12 and this might be the game to look for when it comes out.
