Project CARS support 12K resolution and VR

Support for Fanatec Wheel as well

While it has delayed the game for a couple of times, Slightly Mad Studios shed a bit more light regarding its upcoming Project CARS racing game and what kind of experience will it bring, including support for 12K resolution, virtual reality, plenty of racing wheels and much more.

In an interview with the Dailystar.co.uk, Andy Tudor from Slightly Mad Studios, shed a bit more details regarding Project CARS game and what it will bring when it finally launches in May. According to Tudor, the game will receive constant updates and tweaks in order to have a bright future and compared it to sci-fi game Destiny.

Among other things, Tudor also noted that they already tried the game on 12K resolution and on virtual reality devices and support more than 30 different wheels, which should make it provide a truly authentic experience. We already seen the game on 4K resolution and it does look impressive while Tudor notes that Project CARS will certainly earn its place among titles like Forza or Gran Turismo, some of the well known racing titles.

Slightly Mad Studios and Fanatec have announced that Project CARS will now support a range of Fanatec hardware on both PlayStation 4, Xbox One and the PC.

Project CARS is currently scheduled to launch sometime in mid-May on Playstation 4, Xbox One, and, of course, on PC, where you should see some rather impressive graphics details, as long as you have hardware to run it.
