A newest report suggest that we might see the first Radeon 300-series GPU as early as April and it will be the Radeon R9 370 graphics card, based on Trinidad Pro GPU.
According to
a new report from Videocardz.com and a leak that showing XFX R9 370 to be ready for sale in early April, the first Radeon 300 series might actually be this graphics card while the rest should follow at a later date.
The Radeon R9 370 should be based on AMD's Trinidad Pro GPU and according to the leak, XFX will have two versions of the R9 370 Core Edition, with 2GB and 4GB of memory. The rest of the known specifications include a 256-bit memory interface, single 6-pin PCI-Express power connector, 110 to 130W TDP and two DVI ports, HDMI and DisplayPort outputs.
With this in mind, the Trinidad GPU is clearly Curacao replacement and we will most likely see the R9 370X based on Trinidad XT GPU. The launch, according to the report, is currently planned for early April.
